CG Drives & Automation, with trade mark Emotron, is a green tech company that develops products and solutions to control and monitor electric motors, offering energy savings, reduced maintenance and improved productivity.  The company offers complete drive systems based on a range of standard products and dedicated solutions, including AC drives and soft starters. The channels to market are end-users, system integrators, OEM’s and distributors.

Are you an experienced B2B sales person with a background within technical sales and a strong drive to develop new, long-term relationships with customers, and contribute to business development?

For the dedicated sales team in Bladel Netherlands we are looking for a Sales Engineer for Belgium, Luxemburg and France.

The Sales Engineer is responsible for developing, growing and sustaining sales opportunities within stated key industries. The person facilitates growth by identifying new business opportunities and is responsible for ensuring system optimization to the end-customers, system integrators and OEM’s.
A main focus in this role is to increase the company’s project sales and to broaden the client portfolio.

You will be part of the sales organization Benelux and you will report to the responsible Sales Head. You will be based in our office in Bladel Netherlands.


Your responsibility


  • Identify and develop new customers and business opportunities
  • Develop sales plans in line with our strategy and set annual targets on selected customers and regions
  • Promote the company’s image and added value
  • Work with customers in the designated countries
  • Support existing customers and build long-term relationships
  • Develop new solutions for the customers
  • In collaboration with colleagues, work to increase the company’s project sales

About you

In order to be successful in the role as Sales Engineer you have previous experience within B2B sales, solution sales and a strong technical interest. You have a higher technical education, or equivalent work experience.

As a person you are self-motivated and always strive to reach the next target and never gives up.
You have a business-oriented and creative mindset, and you always put your clients’ needs in first place. Developing new, long-term relationships with customers is a strong driving force for you and you thrive when you deliver new sales opportunities for the company.


  • Experience in sales in the water and waste water segment
  • Knowledge of AC Drives and Motor Control
  • Additional language skills
